  3. Heat 2.5 tbsp oil in earthen vessel, splutter mustard seeds

  5. Add ginger garlic paste and shallots with curry leaves. Saute until onions are golden brown
  6. Add turmeric and red chilli powder. Mix well
  7. Add kudam Puli water to the vessel, salt and 1 cup water. Mix well
  8. Add 1 piece of kudam Puli to curry. Bring to boil
  9. Add fish to curry. Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes over low heat
  10. Add 1 tbsp coconut oil and garnish with curry leaves. Serve hot with steamed rice
